March 1st
I worked more on my bust and got a lot of the facial aspects down. I would shape it one way and not like it so it was just a trial and error until I liked it. I was also probably be working in this for a while to get it just the way I want it.
March 1st
On this day I also worked and started my Mexican spirit animal. I added more designs to the shell but didnt like it so started that part over.
March 3rd
I worked on my bust today. I blended in a lot of the facial features and made the colllar bone defined. Also I worked to make sure that it looked like it had brains and then put final touches on it.
March 8th
With my turtle mexican spirit animal I defined the fins and smoothed out the overall general body. Then also later in the period I attempted to make unique desins but didnt like it again and the clay also git very dry and hard to work with so sprayed with water and covered.
March 10th
I threw today and made a mug. I made a second one too but forgot to take a picture of it. It looks basically the same and just have to wait for them to get out of the kilm and then will glaze.
For the 10th-24th I forgot to take puctures but I worked on my master art piece which was the great wave. I struggled with shaping it right and figuring out how to make it 3D.
March 24th
I finnally got to start galzing these chickens I made from molds. I was busy doing otehr projects so wasnt able to work on them agaon until now. I wanted to add little deatils with teh glazing since it was just a mold, which is why I added the white stripes. I love how they turned out. I made them in a set of two but I wasn't able to finish the other yet.
March 27th
This is the last day before break. I decided to work on glazing the chickens. I worked on the second one but it was precise lines and my hands were super shakey so had to go backa nd fix a lot of spaces where my hand was not still enough. But I got it all done exept I have to add the white stripes, red comb, and lastly the yellow beak. Love how they have turned out so far.
